Very cool tactics game where you can do super crazy skill combo that feels like "cheating" and satisfying.

Really enjoyed my time with the prototype.

  • The  skill combinations can get pretty crazy (which is fun).
  • Its nice to think through different approaches you could have taken and trying them out with the undo button. Try stacking split projectiles for example.
  • The levels offer a nice variety of different challenges and work well with the skill system, like dropping people of the map using the knockback skill. Though its rough if enemies do the same to your units.
  • Get yourself a healing unit asap, as damage persists between levels. Some healing checkpoints could be nice.

Oh, and definetely make sure to turn up the music., it was somehow muted for me on my first play, but remembered my settings the next time.

A very interesting and promising new idea of how tactics games can work. It gives you a LOT of freedom and I guess wants to see what you will do with it :)

I have followed this one closely for a long time now and it has come a long way!
